Corporate Governance

The UK Corporate Governance Code (UKCGC) places great emphasis on the duties and responsibilities of directors. It promotes the importance of establishing a good corporate governance strategy aligned with the company purpose and objectives.

It tackles all aspects of directing and controlling an organisation and how to tackle emerging risks.

All companies with a premium listing of equity shares in the UK are required under the current listing rules to report on how they have applied the Code in their annual report. Companies must provide clear and meaningful explanations when they choose not to comply with one of the provisions of the Code.

Examples of our work

Executive Team - Skills matrix - for a mining Group. This involved understanding current roles and responsibilities of the leadership team and structuring responsibilities based on corporate management principles and skillset defined by psychometric tests performed by the HR team.

Delegation of Authority Matrix - for an International Airport. We analysed spending patterns by the department and talked with senior executives to identify current and proposed approval limits.
